Education for girls is very important, as it will make them stand on their own feets and contribute in the development of society – Says Arun Kumar Mishra

Girls, who have given so many names by our country – Laxmi, Naarishakti, kanya (who is worshiped everywhere) and many other names which symbolizes the power and prosperity.  But when it comes to giving girls their deserving rights, still many towns, many places and many families are there who keep them devoid from their rights. While, there are many families and mothers who see themselves in their daughters, and wish to fulfill all their dreams. Though the will has incredible power, but many a times, it is not enough, especially in the economically deprived or backward places, where more than the will, there is the requirement of genuine opportunities.

Mr. AK Mishra, who has been a motivational speaker since past 2 decades and is the founder and Chairman of Chanakya IAS Academy, given more than 4000 Civil Servants to the nation, now has taken up this responsibility of bringing the right opportunities to such marginalized people of the society through AK Mishra Foundation.

Although saving a girl child and educating a girl is one of the major causes on which AK Mishra Foundation is working, there are many other causes this Non-Profit Organization is working for.

Mr. AK Mishra says, “Ladkiyo ki Shiksha atyadhik mahatwapurna hai, veh aage swawlambi ban kar samaaj ko viksit karengi jis tarah se vo aaj kar bhi rahi hain bahot se desho me aur bharat ke hi kahin sheharo me”.

Being himself born and brought up in a small town of Hazaribagh, Mr. AK Mishra has chosen to begin the work from Hazaribagh and make every corner of it a developed placed, where each and every talent should get the equal opportunity to flourish; be it young girls and boys, or adult men and women or elderlies.

Some recent initiative of AK Mishra like giving Art and Craft training to women at Hazaribagh and Ramgarh has brought incredible changes in the cities, as now every woman out there know their worth, capability and can contribute well in the family. AK Mishra Foundation invited special trainers to train the ladies in sewing, crafting with threads and many other art and craft related works, through which these ladies can earn well later and make their own identity.

Besides this, after noticing the fan-less classrooms of GDM Girls high school in Barkagaon, Hazaribagh, Mr. AK Mishra gifted over 28 fans to the school as a small gesture to make girls feel special for their existence in the society, and said that they should be studied under all good atmosphere, so that they utilize most of their strengths well.

On this special Girl Child Day, let’s together extend our loving blessings to all the wonderful girls, and let’s fight to get their deserving rights for them so that they make most of their given opportunities.

The inspiring journey of Success Guru AK Mishra

Indomitable willpower, never say die attitude and belief in his mission are the hallmark of AK Mishra, the Founder and Chairman of Chanakya education and Training Pvt. Ltd. which is a conglomeration of Chanakya IAS Academy (flagship company Since 1993 and Chanakya Publication. Hailing from the salubrious heights of Jharkhand’s Chota Nagpur Plateau, where the district town of Hazaribagh is nestled, this worthy son of a school principal always aspired to do something extraordinary in life. After a splendid academic career through a nondescript rural school, Hazaribagh’s St. Columba’s college and then Delhi University, he could well have become an administrator himself. But that would have limited matters to him and personal excellence. And therefore, he instead chose to develop “Human Software”, as he calls it, for administration and governance of India.

The journey of this man, who today is an inspiration for thousands, has never been so easy. It was harder still in the years gone by. In fact, the word “remote” acquires the true meaning there, as the British must have discovered while trying to lay railroads through its tough terrain. Communication might be a little better today, with superior highways and more railway lines, but they had certainly not improved much when Mr AK Mishra was growing up in the independent India of the 1960s. He cycled five kilometers from his village of Barkagaon to his first school. From vantage points, during pauses in his daily toil, he must have seen endless stretches of land and people that needed to be administered and governed. These pauses, and what he thoughtfully surveyed in them, perhaps suggested him the way forward and thus he decided to lay the foundation of an institution where he can coach the youngsters and help them become the administrators to bring a change which our nation deserves.

And this is how Chanakya IAS Academy came into the existence. Began with just 43 students in a small set up with few selected faculties, Chanakya IAS Academy today coaches more than 8000 students in its 18 centres across India and is considered as the most favored nursery of India’s future bureaucrats. In its 25 years of excellence, Chanakya IAS Academy has given more than 4000 administrators to the nation. With each passing year, the strike rate is enviable, and this has not gone unnoticed in a country where making it to these services is among the highest measures of the merit.

Mr AK Mishra never wanted Chanakya IAS Academy to be thought or taken as just another coaching institute. That would detract from his vision, as he says “I was aware that I would be training people who are going to lead the country, so why not create an All India Institute for the All India Services? This could only be done by education with a broad vision and not through typical patterns”. And thus, he not only coaches students with best of the faculties in its over 18 centres, but he also organizes various workshops, seminars and training programs across India to educate the youngsters of our nation and to make them think, feel and express themselves like administrators.

Today, when more than 35000 people turn up to hear the son of soil in Hazaribagh, Patna, Delhi and other cities across India, where he organizes his motivational training programs not just for students, but people from all walks of life, we all can assume that he has more than arrived and has something undeniably forceful to say. Yet the journey has been tough and not many would have thought the arrival possible.

While narrating his journey, he said “There were monetary constraints, but I had faith. It was a question of first, making the students feel comfortable in our environment and, next selecting the right kind of teachers to train them. The other challenge that I faced when I got the students in my institution from different backgrounds, some students came from villages too and had an entirely different background to those from urban areas. And then the thought of providing education in both English and Hindi Medium came into mind”. He brought in library facility, air-conditioned classrooms, lodging for outstation students and other features that were not part of the existing coaching model back then.

He says “I am a very firm believer in Human potential and its uniqueness. I feel that any person with a healthy brain can be trained to excel. I refuse to believe that one can and the other cannot. So I first identify the special talent of the person and then enhance it to meet the goal of choice”.

And thus, beyond the academy, his motivational seminars draw impressive numbers across India. Understanding and analyzing human behavior at different stages of life in different circumstances is what enticed, Success Guru AK Mishra to establish two more business verticals which are “AK Mishra’s Art of Success – a life transformation training company & Non-profit Organization “AK Mishra Foundation”, through which he fulfills his dream of remaining grounded and feel the pain of those in need, serve the vulnerable sections of the society and empower them with relevant education, healthcare, skill-set and employment opportunities.

On one hand, where his Art of Success and his Trademark Model “Human Software Development Program” is popular worldwide through which he trains people to reprogramme their mind for success, on the other hand, his active involvement in social services is giving a ray of hope to lakhs of unprivileged people. He says “through AK Mishra Foundation, I feel my existence is justified. I am successfully being able to contribute to the society. It is my continuous struggle to make this country a better place to live than I found it. I will be glad if I could be a channeling force for thousands of unprivileged people of India”.

He does not yearn for awards or recognition, as he rightly says “My awards have come in the form of results or outcomes of the students coached by me and the smiles that I see on people’s face who get benefited through the social activities that I frequently organize”.

AK Mishra Foundation comprises of eminent professionals from multi-sector backgrounds across India that share a common vision and do their bit towards the society in making of a cognitive culture. It’s with an intention to put collective efforts to synergistically work and gather people who find themselves inspired to uplift lives of those who grow with inadequate education, healthcare, resources and psychological support.

AK Mishra foundation envisions a transformed India where all children and families have access to proper education and medical care. Through the non-profit organization of this humble man, AK Mishra supports & is actively indulged in the programmes and services that are consciously working towards the welfare of the society and their sustainable development.

AK Mishra believes that unless members of the civil society are proactively involved in the process of uplifting the backwards sections of the society—sustainable change will not occur in our country. Due to his immense belief in ‘Civic Driven Change’, AK Mishra Foundation sensitizes the civil society towards his mission of empowering the society from within. Through AK Mishra Foundation, AK Mishra is devotedly working towards the 5 major causes, which are, Health, Education, Art & Culture, Skill Development, Employment and sports.  Looking at this humble vision of the man, various prominent institutions, development agencies, confederations and associations across the country have joined hands to support in the noble initiatives.

Talking in detail about the 5 causes towards which AK Mishra is working, let’s take one by one and the initiatives taken by him for each cause to bring a positive change in the society as a whole.

Education: Mission Education by AK Mishra Foundation is a national level programme which is committed to contributing towards basic education and healthcare to underprivileged children. AK Mishra Foundation believes that whether you are addressing healthcare, population control, unemployment, poverty or human rights—there’s no greater place than the corridors of education. Furthermore, AK Mishra Foundation is dedicated to supporting higher education for brilliant, deserving yet disadvantaged students across India. AK Mishra consistently organizes national as well as state-level scholarships programs, community awareness programs and other training programs in association with various reputed institutions like Vinoba Bhave University, Amity University, and many others.  AK Mishra Foundation accord education for destitute children who are under difficult circumstances; Child Labor, Children of Poor Parents, Orphans, Children Affected by HIV/AIDS, Children with rare disabilities, Disaster struck children, Slum children, etc. Special importance is given on girl child education and women education—as it’s an immense belief of Mr AK Mishra that educating a girl is educating a generation so that every woman can empower their families.

Health: AK Mishra promotes inter-generational bonding and acclaims a strong belief that granting healthcare services to children and families is a fundamental way towards the development of both the society and the country. AK Mishra says “Since independence, India has made rapid strides in the health sector. However, a reliable healthcare remains a challenge across our country. Shockingly, urban areas have less than 4% of government primary health care services, despite accounting for 1/4th of the country’s poor population. Urban slum dwellers are not far behind; they suffer from adverse health conditions and go through economic adversity”. AK Mishra Foundation has a firm alliance with Healthy Aging India (founded by Dr Prashun Chatterjee, a national non-profit organisation, working for the better health care and quality life for the geriatric (60+) population of the country), Save Child Beggar, (another Non Profit organization formed for providing health care services to the marginalized people of the society), Federation of Resident Doctors Association (FORDA), and many other such organizations. It aims at  Creating a unique self-sustaining model for an elder generation, empowering the community by engaging them in meaningful activity, promoting quality of life through awareness, promotion and creating inter-generational solidarity. AK Mishra frequently organizes various health camps for kids, elderlies and offers free health check-ups, treatments to promote healthy living amongst the slum dwellers.

Art and Culture: Since its Inception, AK Mishra Foundation is devoted to the Art and Culture. Following this subscription, AK Mishra Foundation creates awareness about music, dance and other performing arts among the common people across the country. AK Mishra says “In modern time, the life has become so tiring that one cannot afford his time towards Art and Culture. Thus, our Mission Art and Culture ensures that people should learn and experience the trance of the diverse culture and arts. AK Mishra Foundation aims at pulling more and more people towards learning Indian Culture and Classical Arts, so that people may get familiar with our rich culture and recognize the importance of our ethos and understand its holiness”.

Skill Development and Employment: Mr AK Mishra has realized, through years of working on the ground, that the major problem of the school Dropouts across our country from underprivileged families is because of two reasons; Economic poverty & Social poverty. While economic poverty is directly the lack of financial aid— the social poverty is the absence of social support systems and most importantly, the socio-cultural atmosphere that positively impacts school Dropouts in developing their skills and improving themselves. Thus, AK Mishra conducts sessions especially in the marginalized areas, where participants are given vocational trainings that help them develop additional skills based on their area of interest. Further as per the true belief of Mr AK Mishra that behind every successful individual, is a woman who held their back, and therefore these women must be given a platform to sharpen their skills and not only get acknowledged for it but also get the chance to earn with this skill-set. And therefore, AK Mishra conducts special training programs on women empower empowerment for these women, where they get training like sewing and other trainings based on their interest level and further give them an employment opportunity where they can further enhance their skills and teach others the same art.

Sports: Success Guru AK Mishra strongly believe in sports and its conception towards the Sustainable livelihoods in both the rural and the urban parts of our country. AK Mishra Foundation uses sports as a tool to achieve community and personal development objectives. AK Mishra says “We have adopted sports as a part of corporate social that provides a platform for youngsters from disadvantaged sections of the society and empowers youth to get recognized nationally. AK Mishra is actively involved in conducting cross country championships, which he recently organized in Hazaribagh, where a lot of youngsters participated and represented the nation at the national level”.

So these are the few glimpses jotted down as the introduction of Mr AK Mishra, who is an entrepreneur, motivational speaker, social worker and above all a humble human being a ray of inspiration for thousands.

The science behind smile

Why did Mona Lisa get to be a standout amongst the most celebrated sketches ever?  An incredible amount of people has been asking this same question since long. One possible answer which most of the people usually say is “because of her unique smile”. The smile is the most beautiful image one can capture in his/her heart forever to feel the happiness. the-science-behind-the-smile-11-638

What happens to our brain when we smile?

Suppose you encounter a positive circumstance and you see a companion you haven’t met since a long time. Here, the neural signal travels from the cortex of your mind to the brainstem. From that point, the cranial muscle conveys the signs further towards you face’s smiling muscle

Once the smiling muscle of the face contacts, a positive feedback loop goes back to the brain and augments our feeling of joy.

How to differentiate between the real and fake smile

When we smile we enact the two potential muscles. The first one is Zygomaticus major which controls the corners of our mouth. When this muscle is activated, the smile is not actually genuine. This can also be called as “social” smile. The second muscle is orbicularis oculi, which is known to show sincerity and it surrounds our eye socket.

Whenever we smile, there are 2 potential muscles we activate. The first one is the zygomaticus major and it controls the corners of your mouth. Whenever this muscle only is activated, it’s not actually a genuine smile. Scientists call this also the “social” smile. The second muscle, known to show sincerity is the orbicularis oculi and it encircles our eye socket.

Effects of smile on our success, health, sense of peacefulness & happiness

Through the powerful feedback loop, smile can indeed change our brain. Our brain keeps a good track of our smiles, like a smile scorecard. Our brain knows how often we’ve smiled and which state of mind we are in. Smiling helps reduce stress, foster good sleep and generate more positive emotions within you. SO SMILE!

Conquer The Fear Of Making Wrong Decisions In Life

Every day we begin a fresh morning with new challenges & new hopes. As we move forward in life, many times we find ourselves stuck in situations where we have to make decisions and we are completely blank; few decisions are easier to make, while some may impact our entire life and often put us in crossroads. None of us know what our fate has in store for us and none of us has seen that, what is visible to us is our efforts, our decisions, and our struggles which ultimately help us reach our desired paths.

But, what if we afraid to choose a path which in turn makes us so unclear while making a choice in life? Yes, it happens. It happens quite often. I found many people in my seminars asking this kind of question to me. Lot of decisions in life can be frightening anticipation to many people who are afraid with the thoughts like ‘what will happen if I don’t choose the right thing’. And this is nowhere defines a stronger or a weaker personality, it’s just humanly thoughts, which different people face at different phases of life.

Follow my YouTube Channel to keep your spirits high with small clips of my motivational talks

There is a term coined by Princeton University philosopher Walter Kaufmann for this kind of fear, which is known as ‘decidophobia. It often leads people to lack of clarity, blurred thought process, increases our dependency on others, and sometimes leads to overall lost sense of direction and control.

Why does it happen?

Most of our experiences which we face as grown up people in life are due to the experiences we have had in our early stages of life. For eg, many people have fear of failure in life, and hence they face difficulty while making career choices, or while taking up a new project, or changing a job, or setting up a new goal; it happens because they either have faced such failures in school where they have been criticized because of this, or they have seen failures being faced by some of their closed ones, may be parents or anyone close to them. While, some have fear of making decision for marriage, which I have seen very commonly, this could be either because they have seen the disturbed marriage of their close ones around as a child, or it could be that they have faced troubles in the married life of their parents themselves. So the fear or phobias comes from nowhere but from one’s own experiences or witnesses in life.

Below are some best tips by to overcome the fear of making decisions and bring clarity

Feel your emotions deeply and pay attention to them

Our emotions play a major role in guiding us if we deeply pay attention to them. Understand you emotions; analyze how you feel when you think about that decision which you want to make. These emotions are indeed work as your gut feeling in these situations. Let us assume that you are not being able to make decision between whether it should be done or it should not be done. Let’s give name ‘X’ to should be done option, and ‘Y’ to should not be done option. Now, imagine yourself choosing X, and see how do you feel while choosing X option, understand that emotion! Is it negative, is it still fearful or is it positive? Think about ‘Y’, how do you feel now?

As I mentioned above, every human being is never born with such fear. People develop fears from their past experiences. We human often built a protective fence around us and our emotional scars and try to keep away anything or anybody who can trigger that unconscious fear.

Here, our emotions take the form of gut feeling or intuition when we deeply pay an attention to it, as the answers of every question of yours is inside yourself, you just need to introspect. So now, whenever you feel fear, move inward and pay attention to your deeper emotions.

Understand that there is nothing called ‘Right’ or ‘Wrong’ Decision in life

It could be bitter truth for some, while some may understand and would take it very well; that every experience you have in life, whether you say it good or bad, right or wrong, and that experience is something you need to have in life. That’s how you grow. So your some decision may lead you towards a beautiful path beyond your imagination, while your some decision may lead you to painful lesson but will ultimately make you wiser. Our life, the situation we face, the circumstances we experience are the sum total of what we most think in our life, our thoughts have a strong impact on our reality. So, introspect, analyze the situations well, think about the outcomes, but do not let the fear of negative outcome overpower your thoughts and energies.

And, the guidance can come to you in any form. Simply just flip the coin and see where it leads you.

Let go of the fear

Before making any decision in life, you first have to let go of the fear which is dominating your thought process. Let go of the fear, let go of the thought which is triggering the emotion of fear in you. Once you have conquered the fear, it’s time to relax, meditate, move inward, and introspect, think about the possible outcomes (for eg. (1) What happens if X happens? (2) What won’t happen if X happens? (3) What happens if X doesn’t happen? (4) What won’t happen if X doesn’t happen?).

Be prepared for even the negative outcomes

While I am asking you to let go of negative thoughts and think the positive ones, on the other hand, I would advise, if the decision is difficult for you, look at the potential consequences. What worst could happen? What are you scaring from? What is the risk involved? Empower yourself by being prepared for that worst scenario realizing that it will be handled if other things are perfect. Analyze the number of positive and negative outcomes, and prepare yourself for few negative ones; believing that even the unwanted outcomes bring opportunities in life. You never know! So just take a deep breath, listen to your gut feeling with all the calculations involved, trust on the supreme power and jump.

All you need to know about the power of your subconscious and super conscious mind

Our Mind

Human mind, which is the most powerful tool endowed by the almighty to every human being to reach their full potential and to create anything one desires in life. Moreover, it is human mind which has the caliber to do all the inventions, discoveries and most importantly makes one able to consciously live, communicate, love, hate, think and so forth.

Divisions of mind

Human Mind is comprised of not three but four divisions; the conscious, the sub conscious, the unconscious and most importantly the universal mind, the tool to connect with God; The Super conscious mind.

Conscious mind

Conscious mind is your awareness at the present moment; it is what most people associate with what you are. You conscious mind communicates with the outer world through pictures, words, emotions, physical movement and convey messages to the inner self through communication, thoughts, emotions. The conscious mind involves all of the things that you are currently aware of and thinking about. It is somewhat akin to short-term memory and is limited in terms of capacity. Your awareness of yourself and the world around you are part of your consciousness.

Subconscious mind

The subconscious mind includes things that we might not be presently aware of but that we can pull into conscious awareness when required. Subconscious mind stores everything whatever conscious mind experience. It also holds your current programs that you run every day, such as your current recurring thoughts, behavior patterns, habits & feelings. It stores all your past experiences that can be recalled by conscious efforts. your experiences in turns form your belief, habits, likes or dislikes and behavior. Your ambitions, desires for future are also stored in your subconscious mind.

Unconscious Mind

Unconscious mind is very similar to subconscious mind as it also deals with memory. But the major difference between the two is our unconscious minds stores even those past memories of our life which we cannot consciously recall. It is the storehouse of all your deep seated emotions that have been programmed since birth. In simple terms, the unconscious is the storage place for all our memories that have been repressed or which we don’t wish to recall. A traumatic event in our childhood that has been blocked out is an example, but it doesn’t have to be as serious as this.

Unconscious Mind

It could be something very distant like what you had for lunch on your first day of school or what the name was of the childhood friend you played with a couple of times. It’s a memory that we can’t pull out at our choosing. It’s there, but we can’t remember it no matter how hard we try. Certain psychoanalytical methods can bring back these memories (such as hypnosis) or it can be triggered by a particular event (a scene, a familiar place etc.). Whereas, the memories which are stored in our subconscious mind are something we can choose to remember.

Power of Subconscious Mind

Your subconscious mind is much more powerful than your conscious mind. Most of your decisions, actions, emotions and behavior depend on the 95 percent of brain activity that is beyond your conscious awareness, which means that 95 to 99 percent of your life comes from the programming in your subconscious mind. When you aren’t conscious aware of your thoughts or behavior, your subconscious is operating outside your awareness. So your life is a reflection of the programs in your mind, and your primary programming that shaped your life was formed by age seven.

How to manifest a better transformation in your life through your mind

Your subconscious mind responds to your thoughts. When you worry or are in a fearful state, your subconscious mind will respond. To lessen the power of becoming attached emotionally to your thoughts, you must become the observer of your thoughts. When you can notice what you’re thinking (if it’s a negative thought), you can decide not to believe your thought and it will no longer have the power over you.

How to reprogram your Subconscious mind

In order to shape a beautiful life, one must be aware of their subconscious mind, the thoughts which directly communicated to the conscious mind, hence our mind starts behaving and transforming the way our subconscious mind thinks or perceives. Here given below the following ways that helps reprogram your subconscious mind

Step 1: Practice thinking different thoughts

If your subconscious mind operates out of habitual ways of thinking about and reacting to experiences based on your life experiences, and these patterns of thinking (lack and scarcity) no longer serve you, practice thinking well feeling thoughts.

Step 2: Make powerful declarations of things you want in your life

Focus on what you desire for your life. Say it in the positive, and repeat it to yourself as often during the day as you can. For example if you want to find an ideal partner, say, “I am happily living with my ideal partner.” If you want more money, say, “I am attracting abundance in my life”, if you want to start a business, say, “I am happily working in my ideal business.” When you declare what you want, you’re making a promise to yourself and your subconscious mind will create this in your life.

Step 3: Ask for divine guidance just before you go to bed at night

If you have an issue or problem in your life that you want to solve, ask for guidance. When your brain is in the relaxed alpha state just before you go to bed or after yoga or meditation, this is the best time to enlist your subconscious mind to help you solve this problem. Any time I do this and wake up “knowing” the answer, I immediately follow this guidance and it has always guided me to what I need to know.

Super conscious mind

While the conscious and subconscious aspects of our mind are closely aligned with our physical shell or body, the super conscious mind is super physical. In other words it exists at a level extending beyond our space time continuum. It can be likened to the internet, which enables us to connect to every other computer in the world and the people using those computers. However with the super conscious connection we do not need any other technology than what we are born with. Through super conscious it is possible for us to connect to every other mind on the planet.

Connecting to super conscious Mind

However connecting to our super conscious opens up much wider doorways than just linking to other minds. It is also that aspect of our being that exists before we were born and survives our death – some also call this aspect the higher self.

Why every human being must unleash their power of super conscious mind

By progressing into the future we can gain insight into aspects of ourselves that we need to develop to become more balanced and effective in our lives. By making adjustments in the ways we think, feel and behave we can create a much more positive future for ourselves and others.

How one can reach to the potential of super conscious mind

Whatever limitations you are experiencing are strictly due to the limiting beliefs you hold in your subconscious mind. The way to overcome them is by aligning your conscious and subconscious minds with the super conscious mind. You do this by being willing to let go of your own beliefs about yourself and the world around you and opening yourself to the information, the power and the love flowing into “your center of consciousness” directly from the super conscious mind.

How one can reach to the potential of super conscious Mind

In spiritual literature this is often referred to as surrendering to God, it is just another way of saying “allowing” or “opening” yourself up to the flow of boundless resources, knowledge and power which are available to you. And this state of mind can be achieved through meditation, by spending quality of time in solitude and listening to the voice of inner soul and heart.

Steps to program your Subconscious Mind for success, positivity, and happiness

Subconscious Mind – What power does it possess?

The human mind is the most powerful asset we humans are endowed with. Our subconscious mind has the power to manifest anything that we desire just with a thought or the affirmation. But what we need is to explore this power and make a right use of it.

It is important for you all to understand that in order to create a long-lasting change in the thought pattern, ideas, beliefs and even the circumstances, you need to change the paradigms you have stored in your subconscious mind. The programming of the mind might sound threatening to you, but it is very much possible and that too with some easy steps. Although it will take time, regular practice and persistence, because as I said you need to shift the paradigms of your mind, and that cannot be done overnight, but the regular practice will surely help you explore the magical power which your mind possesses.

Through this article, I endeavored to explain the possible ways to communicate with the most powerful asset you have, i.e., your subconscious mind. Before moving on, here are few rules that must be followed during the programming of the subconscious mind.

The first rule (The Thumb rule) – You must know what you exactly want: Your goal must be clear in your mind with clear words to send the right message to your subconscious mind. You must be specific and rational. You cannot desire to fly in the sky like a bird, but you can desire to fly if you wish to get into skydiving course. So it should be very rational, because you just don’t need to say it innumerable times to let it reach to your subconscious mind, but you also need to develop the same kind of belief system that complements the statement.

Second Important Rule – Know what is stopping you: Once you have set a specific, now what you need is setting up a dialog to ask to your own self that what is that which is blocking you or stopping you to achieve that desire. And trust me, deep inside you; you know what is that which is stopping you. Most of the time, we block ourselves with some self-imposed beliefs, thought patterns and actions which stop us to achieve what we truly desire, and this exercise when you’ll be honest to yourself and ask yourself what is stopping you, you will be actually able to acknowledge those blockades, which you have created on your own. Let’s take an example, a person is having a problem making money even after a lot of hard work; what all possible blocks could he have? He might be living with a belief system that ‘Nothing happens right with me ever, so this time too although I am putting the efforts but let’s see what outcome I will get’, I am too tired of this hard work and efforts that I put every day but still don’t get the results so better I leave everything, and such other types of thought pattern which a common man generally experience. When this man will peacefully try to communicate with his subconscious mind, he’ll be able to recognize these blocks.

This significant rule – Shift the thought pattern in your subconscious mind: Now, once you are aware of what is stopping you, the next and important step is to start working on changing this thought pattern and reprogramming of your subconscious mind.

What is the best time to practice this?

The two most significant times to practice the techniques of the reprogramming of your mind is either when you go to sleep at night or right after you wake up in the morning.

A fact: About 15 minutes before you go to sleep and feel extremely sleepy, your mind and body start calming down, your breathing becomes at ease, your muscles loosen up, your heartbeats start slowing down and the whole system in your body starts getting into a relaxation mode; and this is the time when your brain produces alpha waves. At this stage, the subconscious mind’s tunnel gets activated to send and receive messages. And this is why you get into the dream state of mind when your body gets into complete relaxation mode because at that time your subconscious mind’s tunnel opens up. And those 15 minutes prior to sleep is the best time when you should communicate with your subconscious mind.

How?

Here I am listing down some powerful ways to communicate effectively with the subconscious mind and send positive and affirmative revived beliefs

Make use of music to open and connect deeply with your subconscious mind: Just lie or simply sit down comfortably and play a relaxing, calm, soft and pleasant music that can help your brain go relaxed. You can use alpha brainwave music. Once your brain goes in its alpha waves state, it becomes easier to program your subconscious mind, as it tunes our brain into a receptive mode. You can either sit calmly or can imagine something very beautiful, could be anything; a seaside view, a beautiful home where you are living happily with your family, a big company which you own or work in the greater position or anything that makes you feel good. And if you cannot imagine anything, just simply sit or lie down calmly.

Now, plant the seeds in your subconscious mind: Now, once your body and mind are completely relaxed, this is time to start communicating with your subconscious mind. Begin planting new messages that push you towards your desired goal.  You can make use of imagination along with the positive affirmations. For eg, the same person, who used to think that nothing goes right with him, would say ‘I am going to change that old pattern, and this time, when I am getting into something, I won’t come out of it till the time I make it succeed’. I am the luckiest person as I am endowed with a beautiful family, the body organs, and the opportunity to beat the challenges and rise in life, and I am going to rise high this time and nothing can stop me.

Focus on the feeling that you will get when you will achieve that desire. Feel that now. Visualize you are making all that happen what you desire and experience that feeling of pleasure and gratitude, as this will make your belief system even stronger.

Emotional Communication – The New Art Of Expression!

Social Interaction, in the present era, is one of the most crucial branches of communication, for we human beings. And with increasing emotional detachment in relationships, social dependency has equally increased, for, individuals seek their ‘space’ in outsiders, rather than making it better with the inmates. Here, Emotional Communication comes into action, where individuals are willingly opening-up more in front of acquaintances, and friends, for matters, that once used to be ‘personal’ and were shared with close family members only.

This, Social Interaction through emotional communication, as per Psychologists, is the expressions people reflect while conversating through verbal or even non-verbal medium, deeply affected by an internal emotion or feeling.

Now, will that be wrong to say that Emotional Communication is the new art of expression? We say No!

Importance Of Emotional Communication

When a person initiates a conversation with another person sharing common perceptions or emotional blocks, it prompts sensitive sentiments between the two, giving way to an understanding they will be sharing henceforth. The expression of thoughts, hence, becomes easier and any future conversation, when done even in the state of a difference of opinion, through emotional communication becomes way more practical and effortless to settle at. It becomes easier to adapt as per the situation, gauge the same and come to a satisfactory resolution, on the grounds of emotion shared. Here, we would like to mention that the emotion may not needfully be of a sentimental acceptance or commonality, but can be of hatred, anger, affection, etc.

Polishing The Art, For Good

To polish one’s inbuilt traits for mastering an art as sensitive as Emotional communication, demands sheer practice and indulgence. Emotional practices do not mean here to get sentimental for every little thing and get involved in a detailed conversation of the same. Rather being considerate to the situation, finding a practical outcome with an equally comforting reaction to the other members of the conversation, upskills one’s emotional expressions.

To effectively do so, there are always some do’s and don’ts to be followed, and here we are mentioning just a few, to let you discover the rest, deep within the real & compassionate ‘You’.

Keep A Note Of Certain Habits While Conveying Emotional Expressions –

  1. Emotional expression is an art which cannot be conveyed to everyone, neither can be understood by everyone. Choose the right person with whom you can convey your emotions to, and who can understand it well with an open, positive and understanding state of mind, at the same time, keep your mind open as you will get the opinions from the other person too during the communication.
  2. Avoid emotional barriers from hitting you, as they will bar your common sense from being rational & logical.
  3. Restraint from easily get frustrated, for any reasons. Find yourself a chance to give words to your ideas and present the same, with a pleasant smile, you are blessed with.
  4. Always keep the mood of the conversation light & positive, for every member to easily settle in. Easy conversations trigger creative ideas and thoughts, to flow in easily.
  5. Respect people around you and observe their actions or urge to keep their views. Their territories are defined and so are yours.
  6. Always approach conversations to find a decent conclusion to settle at.
  7. Be patient, everything can be mended with little endurance.

How Does Emotional Communication Help You, Individually?

  1. Comprehending the emotions – Emotional Communication is the best measure to comprehend the emotions of other people around and make the flow of entire conversation easier and more practical. When you know where an emotion or action is coming from, you will be able to frame a logical response for the same.

Personally, if you can equate your emotional expressions, the endurance of facing rough situations becomes easier and you will find yourself to be more resistant to the emotional turmoil, giving way to more positive energies for balancing your life. This also helps boosts confidence and gives you an edge over others, in the Social Presence and Civility.

  1. Aid your feelings – Emotional Communication, over the time, gives you a command over handling your thoughts and aid the feelings which you must or must not share with different people. It also helps you feel empowered in taking self-decisions and stick by it.
  2. To facilitate these thoughts & emotions, you must first learn to understand various emotions, you tend to portray in particular situations and then develop skills to put them together in your favour.

To understand this better, image this – you have a team of employees working under your supervision. One fine day, you realise that one of the employees in your team is not in a very productive mode to work for the important project that must be completed, in a certain timeframe. On the first instance, you might just want to discuss with him, about his issues and find a solution to settle in favour of both. But, consider your bosses are yelling at you, for the delay in the project because of this one person, and your project is highly suffering, how do you think you will react? In a practical situation, any one of you will panic and end up venting it out on the employee. But will that give you any decent solution? This is where mastering the art of Emotional Communication come in handy and you will be able to tactfully balance the situation while also finding a solution to the problem at hand.

Emotional Communication Works Wonders, Not Just Professionally, But To Mend Personal Relations Too!

  1. Balance your emotions – For humans, emotions do not tend to remain static for a very long time and we have no control over it. With time & tide, our emotions tend to fluctuate and we, almost always, communicate accordingly.

Keeping a little note of how we tend to react in what situation can actually help you balance your emotions and conversate accordingly. The better you have learnt about your emotions and can predict them equally well, better are the chances of balancing your life at a personal level & professional space. Such wisdom only comes with practice and keeps you in the upper hand of Maturity levels, appreciated by one and all. And this also saves you from disappointment faced by you or others because of your emotional outburst.

Does It Help In Nurturing ‘Personal’ Relationships?

Yes! Emotional Communication helps us become practical, considerate and understanding while also developing a sense of maturity in oneself. These traits tend to soften our needless egos or at least dissolves the harsh feelings up to a level, as it makes us ready to clear out misunderstandings with those, who matter to us.

Also, as we mentioned above, mastering emotional communication makes a person more aware and confident to deal with life while polishing their Civil Mannerisms, as well. It helps us in many more ways on an individual level, which you will only experience when you practice Emotional Communication!

Concluding my words, I would only like to say that mastering the art of Emotional Communication simply means to develop an insight into your own emotions and share them at the most appropriate places and time. The better other people understand what is going on with you, from inside, and you do the same for them, the more you master the art of successful emotional communication. And the End results are always positive & encouraging for self and for others.

Creating a healthy work environment and training team members depend on healthy lines of communication. However you are clear in your head what has to be done and how it has to be done but if you communicate the same with your team members and there is a feeling of vacuity in their faces, it’s not possible to accomplish the task. You must be able to put across your points in an unambiguous and apparent way so that none of the team members should have the iota of doubt in their mind regarding their jobs and responsibilities.

It gets you competitive mileage and strength to tide over any difficulties.

Intuition

While leading a team through unchartered water, everything is uncertain and there is no roadmap to follow. You can guide your team through their day-to-day tasks with laser-like precision but if something unexpected come about and you are thrown into a new scenario, your team actually needs your guidance then.

Inspire

It’s true that leaders can envision great things but whether they are able to share their dreams and visions with their team is vital. To notch up colossal success, it’s important that your team member stays motivated and their enthusiasm is not dampened under any condition.

Our approach to everybody cannot be same as they all are different – a basic concept that is oftentimes ignored. Educational backgrounds, language barriers, cultural perspectives, personality traits, and value system differs from person to person and every individual comes pre-conditioned that greatly affects how information is interpreted and processed. So it’s prudent for managers to have the ability to customize their approach on a person by person basis.

Science Suggests These 4 Productivity Tips Actually Work

Business is doing great, but there is still a lot on your plate. Sound familiar?

Perhaps it’s full and you can barely keep track of everything. Generally, when there are too many meetings, too many collaborations, and so much hustling it is easy to get overwhelmed.

Being an entrepreneur myself – I understand how hectic it can get. And depending on the stage of your business, hiring a personal assistant may not be a viable solution.

Studies confirm that living in the moment does truly make people happier. And when applied to personal productivity and time management it can do wonders for your business. But being present in this very moment isn’t easy. Our minds tend to wander and distractions are around every corner.

Scientifically proven time management hacks

Controlling your mind and keeping it available for the present is one of the hardest tasks you can assign to your brain. Living in the present not only means to be aware of your surroundings, but to also analyze your priorities and act upon them.

Here are four practical and proven habits that can help you prioritize what’s important and drop or delegate everything else.

  1. Keep a journal

Journaling keeps your whole day intact and creates a habitual pattern that yields results. “Scientific evidence supports that journaling provides unexpected benefits. The act of writing accesses your left brain, which is analytical and rational. While your left brain is occupied, your right brain is free to create, intuit and feel. In sum, writing removes mental blocks and allows you to use all of your brainpower to better understand yourself, others and the world around you.”

Every day – just after waking up – grab your journal and write down how you want to spend your day. And if you also want to schedule a regular time to write down your passing thoughts – do it. Writing things down gives you a substantial way to figure out what you want out of your day and what’s actually happening in your life.

  1. Create a to-do list, the right way

Make a to-do list every single day. A good time to do this is just after journaling – plan your day. But make sure your to-do list is actually one that can help you. The reality is, most people create to-do lists the wrong way. Maybe that’s why “41% of to-do tasks are never completed” and most fail.

According to author and journalist Charles Duhigg in Big Think, “The right way to write a to-do list, the way that genuinely productive people at companies write to do lists is that at the top of the page they write their big ambition, their stretch goal. They write something that seems almost impossible to achieve because that reminds you all day long what you actually want to get done.”

But it doesn’t stop there. “And then underneath they write out a plan. They write a smart goal. They break that big ambition into small components.” Keep your to-do list top of mind. Prioritize those small components. Give yourself a clear picture of what has to be done and bind them with deadlines.

  1. Limit and schedule distractions

Is your brain on information overload? My guess is: probably! “The sheer volume of information that we are exposed to these days can attack all of our senses. While the ‘Age of Information’ may have made us better connected and informed, it has also made our lives more rushed, hectic and distracted,” according to distracted living research.

“Research is now proving that the brain is not quite coping with the amount of information we receive, and our ability to disconnect from the outside and be present in the moment is actually decreasing, according to Adam Gazzaley, MD, PhD. a renowned cognitive neuroscientist.”

This is why it’s essential to assign a time limit to your social media activities and distractions in general. Turn off smartphone notifications and limit scrolling through your Facebook news feed. Limit personal social media activities to once or twice a day. As we all now, it’s way too easy to get distracted.

  1. Accept that multitasking doesn’t work

I know you think you can do three things at one time and do them well. Yet, according to research – the human mind is incapable of keeping attention at two points at the same time.

According to new research published in the Scientific American, “The human brain is considered to be pretty quick, but it lacks many of qualities of a super-efficient computer. For instance, we have trouble switching between tasks and cannot seem to actually do more than one thing at a time. So despite the increasing options—and demands—to multitask, our brains seem to have trouble keeping tabs on many activities at once.”

So, stick to a single task and do not get up until you finish it – and if it’s big, divide it into small chunks, tiny and manageable chunks. Don’t believe the multitasking hype.
